Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy describes the use of cookies and similar technologies on the website www.aiontm.com, owned by IMCE SIGLO XXI, S.A. (Clínica Evolution, CIF A56394281) ("AiON"), with registered office at Calle de José Silva 9, 28043 Madrid, España.
1. What are cookies?
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser or on your device when you visit it. Among other things, cookies make it possible to remember your preferences, keep you signed in, or measure how the site is used.
Alongside cookies, similar technologies such as pixels or local storage may be used; we refer to all of them generically as "cookies".
2. Cookies we use
We use the following categories, with details of what each one stores and for how long:
a) Technical cookies and storage (first-party)
These are necessary for the site to work and do not require your consent. We use one first-party cookie, "peso_case_token", which identifies your medical assessment in progress so you can resume it and so it can be linked to your order; it is httpOnly (not accessible from the browser) and expires after 30 days.
In your browser's local storage we also keep: your selected language; the visual universe you chose ("aion_universe", "aion_universe_chosen", "aion-peso-sexo"), which determines how the site is displayed; and a tab marker ("aion-peso-tab") that tells a page reload apart from a new visit, so we do not resume a form you had already abandoned. If you use the assistant, the conversation messages ("aion_chat_messages") are kept only while the tab remains open.
b) Analytics cookies (third-party)
Through Google Tag Manager we use Google Analytics 4 to measure, in aggregate form, how the site is used (pages visited, traffic sources, assessment steps completed, performance). The same Google Tag Manager container may activate other Google measurement tags when campaigns are running.
c) Behaviour and user experience cookies (third-party)
We use Microsoft Clarity, which records how people interact with our pages — clicks, scrolling, heatmaps and session replay — so we can detect errors and points of friction. This processing is carried out by Microsoft under its own privacy statement.
d) Advertising and campaign measurement cookies (third-party and first-party)
We use the Meta pixel (Facebook/Instagram), with two pixel identifiers running in parallel, to measure the effectiveness of our campaigns and to show relevant advertising. These cookies are managed by Meta under its own privacy policy.
We also store in your browser's local storage, for 30 days, the campaign parameters you arrived with ("aion_attribution_v2"): the utm identifiers, the keyword, the advertising platforms' click identifiers (Meta's fbclid, and gclid, ttclid or msclkid if you arrive from Google, TikTok or Microsoft), the landing page and the referring website. They are only stored if you arrive through a campaign link, the first visit is kept and later ones do not overwrite it. This information is associated with your request and your order so we know which campaign originated it.
Under no circumstances do we use your health data for advertising purposes, nor do we share it with advertising platforms.
3. How to manage cookies
The analytics, behaviour and advertising cookies described above are activated when you open the site. If you do not want them to be activated, you can block them before browsing through your browser settings or a blocking extension, and delete stored cookies and local storage at any time. Please note that blocking technical cookies may prevent the site from working properly and interrupt your assessment.
In addition, you can manage personalised advertising and measurement directly in the third-party services: Meta (facebook.com/adpreferences), Google (adssettings.google.com) and Microsoft (privacy.microsoft.com).
You will find instructions for managing cookies and clearing local storage in your browser's help section (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge).
4. Updates
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the cookies we use. The current version will always be available on this page.
