An oestrogen applied vaginally (pessaries) indicated for symptoms of vaginal atrophy due to oestrogen deficiency in postmenopausal women. Authorised in Spain; with a twice-weekly regimen, systemic exposure remains within the normal postmenopausal range and adding a progestogen is not recommended.
