An oral formulation of minoxidil at low doses (5 mg/day) used in androgenetic alopecia. According to Penha et al. (JAMA Dermatology 2024), it showed similar, not superior, efficacy to 5% topical minoxidil in men; its most common adverse effect is hypertrichosis.
